What types of data do we collect?
When you use our services, you agree that our company collects some of your personal data. This page is intended to inform you about the data we collect, why we collect it, and how we use it.
We process two types of data:
Data provided by the user
As mentioned above, the optional, explicit, and voluntary sending of emails to the addresses indicated on this site entails the subsequent acquisition of the sender’s address, which is necessary to respond to requests, as well as any other personal data included in the communication.
Specific brief information will gradually be provided or displayed on the pages of the site prepared for particular requested services.
Data we collect automatically
We collect the following data through the services you use:

Technical data: such as IP address, browser type, information about your computer, and data relating to the current (approximate) location of the device you are using.

1. How do we use the collected data?
The data collected by the site during its operation is used exclusively for the purposes mentioned above and stored for the time strictly necessary to carry out the specified activities, and in any case no longer than 3 months. Data used for security purposes (blocking attempts to damage the site) are stored for the time strictly necessary to achieve the aforementioned goal.
2. Is the provision of data mandatory?
The provision of personal data is mandatory only for the processing necessary to provide the services offered by European Workshop of Cell Death (refusal to provide data for service provision makes it impossible to use the service itself); it is optional for promotional and profiling purposes, and refusal to give consent has no negative consequences on the provision of the service offered on the website https://www.ewcd.eu/ and related applications.

4. How can you obtain information, modify, delete, or get a copy of your data?
Viewing, exporting, and deleting personal data
To export your personal data (takeout) or request its deletion, you can send a request to the email address ewcd.organization@gmail.com. Your personal data will be exported within 30 days or, in the case of particularly complex export requests, within three months. Deletion will be carried out within the technical timeframes provided and in accordance with the retention period specified in point 5.
Exercising your rights
Any individual using our service can:

Obtain from the data controller, at any time, information regarding the existence of their personal data, its origin, the purposes and methods of processing, and, if applicable, access to personal data and information as per Article 15 of the GDPR.

Request the updating, rectification, integration, deletion, limitation of data processing in cases provided for by Article 18 of the GDPR, transformation into anonymous form, or blocking of personal data processed in violation of the law, including data that is no longer needed for the purposes for which it was collected and/or subsequently processed.

5. How and for how long will your data be stored?
Personal data will be stored in paper and/or electronic/computerized form for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes described in point 1, in compliance with your privacy and the applicable regulations.
6. How do we ensure the protection of your data?
Data is collected by the subjects indicated in point 3, following the indications of the relevant regulations, with particular regard to the security measures provided by the GDPR (Article 32) for its processing through IT, manual, and automated tools, and in a manner strictly related to the purposes indicated in point 1, ensuring the security and confidentiality of the data.
In compliance with applicable regulations, an anti-spam verification system is active for communications between users. The data entered therein may be checked solely for the purpose of identifying illegal activities or content not compliant with the General Terms of Service but will not be processed or communicated for commercial or promotional purposes.ewcd@ewcd.eu
